Information regarding booking of gallery space

Students with specific gallery space needs for a particular project can ask to be placed on a priority list for galleries. Over the study year, we have three deadlines for prioritised gallery bookings

· June 15, for the period August to end of September
· September 15, for the period October to January
· December 15, for the period February to week 16

The program coordinators will send out a canvas announment with further information on how to book some time before each deadline.

The allocation of venues will be published approximately one week after the deadline. We aim for a balanced distribution between MA and BA students across different semesters. Students from older year groups will be prioritized if they haven't exhibited before.

Please note that if you book “P0”, “White Box”, or “Resepsjonsgalleriet", and plan to have a public opening, you must ensure the KHiO reception is staffed. The reception is staffed until 3 PM from Monday to Friday. Events lasting beyond these times must be approved two weeks in advance by the reception so that they have time to hire reception guards. Extra costs for reception staff will have to be covered by you. You can reach the reception via this email: ReseKuns@khio.no.

CANCELLING A BOOKING
If you see that you are not able to use a gallery space you have booked please contact Sarah Eve (BA) or Maiken(MA) as soon as possible. We have limited access to, and also a high demand for, these spaces, so we would like to ensure other Academy students have the chance to use the space.
